Who else shows for the pictures? The photographers got some good ones of Eli! I am slightly obsessed and basically plastering them everywhere.
Eli is wearing his Lund Saddlery snaffle bridle, the Fleeceworks Show Hunter saddle pad, and a Lettia girth. I use Lund Saddlery stirrup leathers and MDC irons on my Devoucoux Biarritz.
I am wearing the Alessandro Albanese Motion Lite Show Jacket (that I maybe accidentally added to my cart at Riding Warehouse last summer during a sale or something. Accidentally.), a LeFash short sleeve Sport Shirt, Equine Couture Beatta breeches, EGO 7 Orion field boots, and a Duftler spur belt from Luxe Eq.
I was pleasantly surprised with how well the Beatta breeches wore all day. I’d buy another pair if I needed to.
We could benefit from another bonnet from ITBF, but one with “Get Off My Neck” embroidered on the ears. For practice.
I just love your show jacket. I think that would accidentally end up in my shopping cart too… for sure accidentally.

Lots of great photos of you two! My husband saw a hunter green coat someone had on last weekend and said I should get one since it would look good with Maestro. I see Horseware has that color (we discussed that coat before when you wrote about it and I didn’t have a pony and hence no excuse to get one) as well as the AA brand. Hmm. Would you say the AA is worth the extra cost vs just getting the Horseware one? Obviously a bit of price difference there…

I have 3 reasons why the AA Motion Lite is worth the extra: 1. It’s a little longer and hits me lower at the hip in a way that looks better in the hunter ring. 2. Hidden zip placket. 3. Double vented behind. The green Motion Lite is gorgeous! But I really need a navy one, I think. I like the Horseware one, but I think the Motion Lite is a much better jacket and worth the price. And honestly it’s still very competitively priced for what it is considering Grand Prix and RJ both have more expensive machine-washable jackets.

Thanks for the input! I currently have a black RJ ($$) that I actually bought for a job interview (they don’t seem to make suit coats for long arms) that hasn’t made it to the show ring yet, lol. Then I have navy and lighter blue (got it for a steal, also never been in the show ring!) kerrits coats. Clearly I just need hunter green and I’ll be set, lol. Just need a sale at RW…

Maybe they’ll have an Easter sale or something like that soon.

Though the bonnet would be cool, it’s not hunter ring legal. Might want to check your schooling circuit, some follow USEF attire/tack rules and others don’t.

Oh no, I just meant for schooling! Would never see that in the hunter ring.
