Not exactly a secret that I love Eli’s jump, is it? I do what I can to try to keep up with him in that respect, but there is one issue: turns.
This has always been our issue. We’re at about a 75% success rate when it comes to decent turns. Our lesson on Saturday was another reminder that what happens in between the jumps is the hard part.
I think he can only get so many right-to-left changes in one day before I go and muck it up. At least we got a few! I promise we got one off that outside line, just didn’t get that time on camera.
Luckily, I have quite a bit of time off work this week and will spend it mostly doing what I want, which means more Eli and Conrad time (but separately). I hope everyone (in America) enjoys the 4th with some sparklers and meat. PSA: please pick up all firework debris and maybe try not to shoot them over bodies of water with wildlife. This perhaps may be a futile plea, but consider that animals and the environment can be negatively affected by fireworks.
