So I planned to school yesterday with my trainer and after Saturday, I didn’t feel all that ambitious ….
Until, that is, I walked up to the arena and decided to walk the lines.
Fitting in 6 strides from trotting in was difficult for a reason.
I moved the blue and grey verticals out about four or five feet.
The lines rode so much better after that.
Exhibit A, wherein Eli gives his hunter impression for the first line (all jumper the rest of the time)

Honestly, Thursday’s lesson was a blast. Nothing perfect to look at, but it felt perfect to me. I love my pony.

Yes, I did try to munch the second fence but Eli can take a joke these days.

Ah, yes. Classic Eli. I SEE THE FOUR.
Looks really organized and well done! Plus I am super jealous of your sunny weather….

Good boy Eli, and good ride ding on your part! That last line made me giggle. I know that struggle.

It’s that extra gear. I’d rather have it than not though 🙂
