Weenie Wednesday: Bluebonnets

The obligatory bluebonnet pic–a Texas tradition. Scores of families pull off of congested highways to sit, roadside, dangerously close to traffic, in bluebonnets (and very often Indian paintbrush sneak in). Babies, children, adults, pets … all risk life and limb for the bluebonnet portraiture that floods your facebook walls every April if you have friends in Texas.

Well, Conrad and I are lucky enough to have a small field of bluebonnets adjacent to the elementary school in my neighborhood, nowhere near a busy boulevard. However, he is not especially trained, so I couldn’t get him to sit and make doe eyes at the camera. So, here it is, Conrad in bluebonnets:
