Sunset Riding

Riding during a stunning sunset = pretty much the highlight of my day. Eli has been flatting quite beautifully this week. I jumped him over a few jumps at 2’6″ last evening, just playing and Eli stayed quiet and casual about it, but I snuck those jumps in also just in case it poured before the “cold” front came through last night. I dropped my stirrups last night, too, and did, let’s say, 4/5ths of a lap of posting trot. I’ll try to make it a whole lap this evening! So glad it’s the almost weekend.
